From the Publisher
With science and religion we have two seemingly opposed views of how life, the universe and everything began:

1) Scientists generally believe that a perfectly balanced universe spontaneously appeared out of nothingness, and that life, consciousness and intelligence randomly evolved from inert matter.

2) Christians generally believe that an all-powerful and all-knowing God created the world and its myriad of life-forms (in just six days).

Not only do they both seem pretty unbelievable, they appear to share no common ground. However, recent scientific discoveries have unknowingly provided evidence that supports the multi-dimensional nature of reality that Hindus, Buddhists and Kabbalists have known about for thousands of years:

1) The latest scientific models state that the universe is multi-dimensional, with six or more hidden spatial dimensions, and is primarily composed of non-physical matter (dark matter and dark energy).

2) Respected doctors and medical practitioners are now openly investigating near-death experiences, out-of-body experiences and past-life regression, and are beginning to discover the multi-dimensional nature of human beings.

By combining modern scientific facts with ancient spiritual knowledge we begin to uncover the whole truth and bring unity out of the existing duality. There can be only one true reality, but we will never discover the whole truth if we hold on to our preconceived ideas and only look from one perspective. Einstein said: "Religion without science is blind, science without religion is lame", because they are two sides of the same coin.

Science and spirituality both agree that we live in a multi-dimensional universe, and paranormal phenomena suggest that life exists in these other dimensions. Human beings may be at the top of the evolutionary ladder in our 3-dimensional physical world but a hierarchy of increasingly advanced beings live in dimensions that exist just beyond our normal range of perception. These higher-dimensional beings are omniscient and omnipotent in our physical world, which is how our concept of god originated.

A handful of these highly advanced beings periodically incarnate to teach the most advanced members of humanity about the true nature of reality. The great masters such as Krishna, Buddha and Christ (and many others who kept lower profiles) are the originators of esoteric knowledge - the one true science and the one true religion. The information was shrouded in mystery and symbolism to prevent the uninitiated from fully understanding it in the event that it became public knowledge.

Most of the world's major religions were built around carefully selected pieces of this esoteric information that were taught to the general public at various times throughout history. As time passed and the religions grew, bureaucracy, dogma and superstition developed, which further distorted the original teachings. Science developed in response to the woefully poor explanations of reality offered by western religion. The early scientists were persecuted and deemed heretics for questioning the Church and delving into the mind of God, when all they sought to do was to understand the world in which they lived. Scientific scepticism of all things mystical is still very much apparent today.

A significant amount of esoteric information was released into the public domain at the end of the 19th century but it (theosophy) failed to make much of an impact because religion was dominant, science was in its infancy and the people of the time were too reserved. The popularity of metaphysics, spirituality and new science in the 21st century indicates that the world is now ready for a modern presentation of esoteric knowledge.

WOW
By Coach K
This book stands apart from nearly every book I have read on spirituality, non-duality, consciousness, mysticism and more. In one work, the author puts into perspective all the other works, explaining the nature of the universe and beyond in a clear, well organized manner. I have read it twice, and still turn to it as questions arise.

A few examples:
I used to wonder how it was that people with near-death experiences claim that they saw Jesus or Moses or Mohammed. Bladon explains that upon death, we first enter the emotional plane, which is a consensus world with figures created through the shared mental projections of mankind.

I wondered why it was that a mystic I know - someone with the uncanny ability to foresee the future and read minds - still held fundamentalist religious beliefs. Bladon explains how it is that psychic ability does not necessarily go hand in hand with a more evolved soul ready to shed such religious notions.

I never understood why some writers of non-duality insist that there is nothing to do, because there is "no-one to do anything", while others speak of meditation or self inquiry as a necessary path to self-realization. Bladon explains how some people become "spontaneously enlightened" in this lifetime, having already done the work in past lifetimes, and now, "re-enlightening" as per their path. It also explains how some writers speak of their experience with enlightenment and non-duality, while others seem to go past non-duality, conquering not only their minds, but their egos as well. (The latter are people who have reached the 4th initiation, entering collective consciousness)

Also, his description of the abilities that come along with enlightenment match perfectly what I saw with my own eyes, as an enlightened teacher I know shared stories of the history associated with a remote canyon we were both walking through (an Anasazi once tried to climb this pillar ...) , and also has given probabalistic determinations of likely futures. Bladon explained the nature of these abilities and the science behind them.

Most of all, the book helped me to clarify where I am on the path, as well as the relationships I have with people, with religion, with other conventional beliefs, and most or all, helping me to understand what work needs to be done to evolve further.

These anecdotes don't do the book justice - it is a true gift for all seekers of esoteric knowledge.

Theosophy for the 21st Century
By Simon Says
I have been interested in theosophy for many years but I was beginning to think it was stuck in the past, because most of the information is a hundred years old and there is precious little new material. The Science of Spirituality resolves this by providing a fresh and up-to-date presentation of theosophical concepts, and expands upon them to deepen and clarify one's understanding. I was blown away by the information in chapters 7 and 8 on the development of consciousness and the science of enlightenment. The book is a "must read" for anyone who is on the spiritual path!

Connecting the Dots
By Sheri L.
I simply devoured Lee's book, and then started on it a second time.

I've been on a spiritual path for many years, and have often tried to piece together the material offered in much of the esoteric literature. It can be quite difficult to decipher the esoteric works, as many of the terms used require definition before you can begin to understand the meaning of the words.

Lee's book helped me put many of the confusing bits of information that I'd gathered over the years together in a logical understandable format.

I highly recommend it.

Excellent Resource for Parents
By Kathy Kessler
I bought this years ago when I wanted to teach my young children about the Bible. We ended up over several years playing many of the games. Most were excellent ideas. I would highly recommend this book to parents for at-home fun.

I did sometimes use the games in a group setting (I work with the children's programs at church frequently). Most worked well, but then I usually knew the children I would be working with and selected the games carefully for that group.

As for the other review on this page - I agree the games are more geared for elementary than preschool aged children. HOWEVER, there is a lot of variation among children. I found that some 4-year olds can play several of the games not specifically labeled for that age. And many other games can be easily modified to accommodate the younger set. I am a teacher so this is easy for me. I found this a great resource for this application as well as for at-home use. For me and the way I use the book, I found it worth every penny. (My copy is falling apart ...)

In this entire book there are only 2 "games" that are for ages 4. One was for ages 4-10, the other ages 4-11. That tells you something right there about the game. I bought this book to teach PreK/K age children so I am very disappointed. The two games that are labeled for 4's are nothing I couldn't have though of on my own. It was a waste of my money. Most of the games are age 9+, which means if your looking for games for children 7-10 this book may be worth buying. Definitely not for any other age group.
